Headquarters of the Inquisition in Spain from 1481-1785, the San Jorge Castle was an icon of this institution in Europe. Located in the Triana district, in the mythical Altozano Square, the St. George Castle and its vestiges are part of the history of Sevilla. The events that occurred in St. George are reflections on the totalitarian processes that occurred along our past history, even in the present. The castle of San Jorge is a place of reflection where you are the protagonist. The center tries to explain how the Inquisition and the castle worked. the lessons offered transfers you to the historical fact of the motivations and concerns of present society.
